What we do

Raise it loud, spend it quiet

Our fundraisers are the visible part — Santas on Main Street, golf carts at Chardonnay. The part that matters happens after: every dollar lands in the Active 20-30 Club of Napa Children's Charitable Fund, and from there it becomes Christmas mornings, fishing poles, and egg hunts for kids in our community who need the boost — many of them children of the farmworker families who work Napa's vineyards.

Every December · running 35+ years

Project Santa

A real Christmas for kids who'd otherwise go without

Project Santa is the heart of this club. Every December, members take the money we raised all year and turn it into Christmas: a warm outfit and a toy picked out individually for each child referred to us, wrapped and handed over at a party where every kid gets a moment with Santa.

Children are referred through partner agencies like Community Resources for Children, with priority for kids facing serious financial hardship or special physical needs — many from the farmworker families at the heart of this valley. For them it's the difference between a hard December and a magical one.

Napa SantaCon

Hundreds of Santas, one very good cause

Our flagship fundraiser is also Napa's most ridiculous day of the year. Hundreds of costumed Santas (and elves, and reindeer) crawl downtown Napa's bars and restaurants, raising the money that funds Project Santa and everything else we do.

Christmas costume required — that's the rule. Every dollar raised goes to the Children's Charitable Fund.

George Carl Kids Fishing Derby

A free fishing day for Napa kids, since 1970

Founded by late club member George Carl, the derby put fishing poles in kids' hands for over five decades. It's free for children ages 3–16: we stock the lake with trout beforehand, prizes go out by age group and biggest catch, and every kid takes home something.

The derby is paused while the City of Napa keeps Lake Hennessey closed over invasive golden mussels. The minute the lake reopens, so does the derby — follow our social channels for updates.

Tee Off Fore Kids

18 holes that pay for a lot of Christmas presents

Our golf tournament brings members, sponsors, and friends of the club out to Chardonnay Golf Club in American Canyon for a full day of golf, contests, and dinner. Sponsorships and entry fees all flow to the Children's Charitable Fund.

Tee Off Fore Kids is taking 2026 off — watch this space for its return.

Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt

An egg hunt where every kid can win

After three decades of running Napa's big public egg hunt, we reshaped it into something more personal: a dedicated, invitation-only egg hunt for children with special needs, run in partnership with ParentsCAN. Smaller crowd, calmer pace, and an event built so every child gets the full experience.
