Fair questions
+Who can join?
Anyone ages 20–39 who lives or works around Napa and wants to do some good with good people. Members come from every line of work — wine, healthcare, trades, tech, hospitality. No sponsor or invitation needed.
+What's the actual time commitment?
Two dinner meetings a month (2nd & 4th Wednesdays, about two hours each) plus hands-on help at events through the year. Most members put in a few hours a month, more during SantaCon and Project Santa season — because that's the fun part.
+How does joining officially work?
You attend four of any six consecutive dinner meetings, two board meetings, one Children's Charitable Fund board meeting, and pitch in at one hands-on event. It sounds like a checklist; in practice it just means by the time you're a member, you actually know everyone.
+What does it cost?
At meetings, everyone buys their own dinner and drinks. Members pay annual dues — email membership@napaactive2030.org for current numbers before your first visit if you want them up front.
+What happens when I turn 40?
You age out of active membership — that's the deal with the hourglass in our emblem, and it's why the club has stayed genuinely young for 95 years. Plenty of alumni stay involved as sponsors, donors, and event volunteers.
+Do I have to show up to my first meeting knowing someone?
No. Showing up cold is the normal way to start. Email membership@napaactive2030.org beforehand if you'd like someone to look out for you at the door, or just walk in and say you're new.
